When I was young, I remember writing little stories. I never showed them to anyone, and I don’t recall ever telling anyone about them. But I remember the feeling. I imagine that it’s the same feeling an artist gets, or a musician. When they learn something new, like a song or technique. Do you know what I’m talking about? I still get that feeling today. When I write a new post, or I jot down an idea I have. It’s a mix of excitement and anticipation. It’s a spark.
This blog came to me at a time when I needed it most. A family emergency compelled me to write. It wasn’t just a want or desire. But almost a necessity. An obligation to myself, for mental health. I am very grateful that I found this little outlet. And whatever shape it takes, whatever niche I fit into, I hope I’ll feel at home.
